A summer business built by hand.
Linger Lakeworks started the way good things usually do — with a couple of kids, a few brushes, and a stretch of dock that needed help. It's a dad-and-kids operation: a 10-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son learning where money actually comes from by quoting jobs, doing the work, and earning every dollar themselves.
Dad's on every job to keep things safe and the quality up — the kids do the showing up, the prep, and a real share of the brushwork. You get honest quotes, careful work, and the small satisfaction of helping two young people figure out how a real business runs.
